We provide locksmith services across Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas. While we offer 24/7 coverage, availability may vary depending on ongoing jobs, travel time and emergency volume. We aim to respond as quickly as possible, and average response times are estimates, not guarantees.
We operate a transparent pricing policy:
No call-out charges.
Pricing is confirmed before work begins.
Quotes provided over the phone are estimates until the locksmith assesses the work on-site.
Additional parts, mechanisms or specialist hardware will be discussed and approved before fitting.
All prices are subject to VAT where applicable.
If a customer declines work after a locksmith has attended and assessed the job, a minimal attendance fee may apply to cover travel and time.
We always attempt non-destructive entry first. However, certain locks, mechanisms or circumstances may require drilling or destructive techniques. Customers will be informed before any destructive method is used.
You may cancel a booking at any time before the locksmith has set off. Once the locksmith is en-route, a call-out fee may apply to cover time and fuel costs.
If the locksmith arrives and the customer is not present, we reserve the right to charge for attendance.
All new locks, cylinders and mechanisms supplied by us are covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty does not apply where:
Damage is caused by misuse or forced entry.
Third-party work has altered or removed installed parts.
Normal wear and tear has occurred.
Labour warranties cover workmanship for 6 months unless stated otherwise.
Customers must ensure that:
They have the legal right to request entry to the property.
Accurate information is given regarding the door, lock type and circumstances.
Pets or hazards are secured before the locksmith arrives.
We reserve the right to refuse service if illegal or unsafe conditions are suspected.
While every precaution is taken, we are not liable for:
Pre-existing faults with doors, frames or mechanisms.
Damage caused by forced entry during emergencies (when unavoidable).
Consequential losses (e.g., missed work, delays, or locksmith arrival times).
Issues caused by poor installation from other companies.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed.
We accept cash, card and bank transfer.
Emergency jobs are prioritised. During high demand, delays can occur, and estimated arrival times are not guaranteed.
The safety of staff is paramount. If a situation is unsafe, abusive or threatening, service may be withdrawn immediately.
We collect only the information required to complete your job (name, phone number, address). All data is stored securely and never sold or shared with third parties outside of essential communication.
Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms & Conditions when required. The latest version will always be available on this page with an updated date stamp.
